The New Holland 8560 is part of New Holland's 60 Series tractors, which replaced the 40 Series in 1996 and which were produced until 1999. This all-wheel-drive tractor is 4.69m long, 2.31m wide and 2.86m tall with a kerb weight of 6,185 kg. The four-stroke, six cylinder diesel motor generates 118 kW of power (160 PS). The engine also features direct injection, a viscous fan, and a turbocharger. The New Holland can reach a top speed of 30 km/h, with an optional top speed of 40 km/h. The built-in transmission is an electro-hydraulic, switchable gearbox with six powershift ratios. The powershift reversing gear acts only on the middle of the three transmission groups. The New Holland 8560 features eighteen forward and six reverse gears, which can be extended via the additional creep speed option to 31 forward and 12 reverse gears. The three-point hydraulic control with electronic adjustment is continuously variable and also allows variable excavation and lowering speeds. The load sensing hydraulics require 86l/min at 168 bar of pressure. In addition to the high performance, the New Holland 8560 also provides high standards of driver comfort, as the tractor is equipped with the NH-De Luxe cabin as standard. This includes insulation from noise and dust, tinted, hinged windows, heating, air conditioning, an air-sprung seat and a power monitor.
