The John Deere 6150R is one of the latest models in John Deere's 6R range, fitted with a 170 hp PowerTech PVX diesel engine. The 6.8 litre engine fulfils the criteria for level IIIb of the European emission standards. It achieves this standard by using the own-brand John Deere diesel-only system, rather than a typical AdBlue-fuelled SCR catalyst. The 6150R's fuel tank can hold 350 litres, making it particularly suited to longer shifts. Moreover, its CommonRail system can inject fuel at pressures of up to 2,000 bar, further increasing the efficiency of the 6150R's engine. Thanks to its partial power shift PowerQuad transmission, the engine's RPM changes according to the load, getting rid of the need for manual adjustments and saving time and fuel. The transmission can engage crawler gears as well as reach high speeds of 40-50 kmh (25-30mph). The 6150R's hydraulics include a PFC piston pump delivering 80 litres per minute, which can also be optionally increased to 114 or 155 litres per minute. The rear lift can take loads of up to 4,800 kg. With suspension both in the cabin and at the front axle, the 6150R's ComfortView cabin creates a comfortable working environment even for longer tasks. There is a full-colour CommandCentre integrated into the right console, giving the driver important updates such as speed, oil levels, fuel consumption stats, distance covered, hydraulics settings and much more. Whether you're looking for price, performance, practicality or ease of use, the John Deere 6150 is a convincing choice.
