The Fendt 963 Vario belongs to the five tractors of the 900er range from Fendt and is, in addition, the second most powerful tractor of the range of models. With an output of 360 PS (265 kW) the 936 Vario only lies just behind the 939 version. It has been produced since 2006 and belongs to the category of large tractors with an unladen weight of ca. 10 t and a length of 5.65 m, a width of 2.75 m and a height of 3.37 m. The hydraulic pump of the Fendt 936 Vario Tractors renders a service of 160 l/min with 200 bar and can be improved to 216 l/min if desired. A six cylinder Deutz-engine with a cubic capacity of 7.14 l propels the Fendt 936 Vario and allows for a top speed of 60 km/h. Additionally, it complies with the emission level 4/ tier 4.
The four-wheel drive large tractor is not only highly efficient and economical, but also offers a special technical feature: the 900er Fendt models are equipped with the new Fendt VarioGrip. Tire pressure equipment is included which can increase the tire pressure for example from 0.8 bar to 1.8 bar in only 30 seconds with the press of a button. The sensors and valves, which are necessary for this, are directly attached to the wheel. With this equipment, when working in the field, the ground is exposed to a smaller load and the efficiency on the road is increased. Additionally, the VarioGrip ensures fuel savings and greater tractive power.
