„Cemos Automatic“ heißt das Zauberwort für den ersten Mähdrescher, der sich automatisch auf die Druschbedingungen einstellt. Wie das geht und was die neue Lexion-Generation von Claas noch zu bieten hat, lesen Sie in einem ersten Fahrbericht.
The Claas Lexion 750 was built from 2010 with a 342 kW strong Caterpillar engine. Since 2013, the model has been powered by a 6-cylinder in-line, Mercedes Benz engine with 10.7 l cubic capacity and 320 kW/435 hp and it fulfils the TIER 4 standard. On roads it achieves a top speed of 30 km/h. The combine harvester comes in three variations. As a wheeled paver with soil protective TERRA TRAC - caterpillar drive and as a MONTANA. The Claas Lexion 750 MONTANA is specially designed for threshing on hillsides. For this purpose it has a drive shaft which allows for slope levelling up to 17 % and Longitudinal levelling up to 6 %. The grain tank volume in the Montana is 9,000 l and in the regular 750 it is 10,000 l with an emptying capacity of 130 l/s. The working width is between 7.5 and 9.0 m. In the Claas Lexion 750 there is also an APS Hybrid System which is made up of a combination of the APS threshing system and the ROTO Plus residual grain separation. The biggest advantage within the APS-System is the speeding up of harvested crop before the threshing drum, thus it is more easily extended and the crop flow is up to 33% quicker. The purification takes place in the JET-STREAM- System with a 6 x turbine fan, the sieve adjustment conveniently takes place out of the driver's cab. The straw management happens with the SPECIAL CUT II chaff cutter with 72 blades that are situated close together and sharpened. In very dusty harvesting conditions, the dust extraction on the feeder housing ensures the best visibility. For use at night, the combine harvester is fitted with up to ten work lights which perfectly light up the working environment. In the Claas Lexion 750 the threshing is controlled and checked with the approved CEBIS System. The CEBIS's 9.4" large colour screen in the driver's cab of the Claas Lexion 750 gives the driver a constant overview of the current processes and allows him to make setting changes with just one action.
