Successor to the model 2066, the John Deere 2266 combine harvester offers deft handling, powerful threshing and quality processing. The 2266 is powered by an 8.1 litre 270 hp PowerTech engine.

Designed with the user in mind, the 2266 has an easy-access engine with long maintenance intervals. Thanks to a long loader and a wide working angle, the cutting unit is able to reach impressive heights. This makes light of typical obstacles such as the dreaded fence post.

Unlike its predecessor, the 2266 comes with a fortified power unit and a newly improved threshing countershaft. The threshing cylinder can reach speeds of 850 rpm. The multi-finger loading screw in the cutting unit prevents long or damp straw from reaching the thresher. The grain conveyor system runs on a chain rather than the typical belt.

The 2266's sieving chamber is particularly outstanding, achieving optimal threshing results with clean grain even without precise manual adjustments. The 2266's 7.5 m3 grain tank can save you time by unloading on the go, thanks to its long unload screw. To guarantee a regular cropping height, the pendulum condensation is controlled by ultrasound sensors.

The cab offers a clear view over the cutting unit, also providing intuitive steering control. The automatic AME controller, built into the armrest, can save up to nine presets.
