Antworten gibt unser Praxistest.
In terms of productivity of the Claas Lexion 580 has always been a class apart from the rest. Overall, the Lexion 500 series sets new standards when it comes to effectively lowering harvesting costs . The harvesters boast a huge, increased performance for assisting the driver with a number of innovations starting from routine tasks to difficult manoeuvres on downhill stretches. For example, you can adjust the Claas Lexion 580 to suit nearly all harvesting conditions. Its high performance cutting mechanism forms the foundation for a high throughput. The technically installed output can be fully exploited with the powerful throughput APS threshing system. It works even in difficult conditions, and the threshing can be applied to each crop as evenly as possible. Moreover, the soft-start system ensures a smooth start for the cutting mechanism. Peak demand on the actuators and clutches are avoided and the durability of the aggregates is increased. Additionally the Claas Lexion 580 impresses with minimal set-up time.
Thanks to the new multi-coupler the coupling and decoupling of the cutting mechanism now goes even faster. In a very dry harvest, the dust can rather "obfuscate" the view of the cutting mechanism - however, not for the Claas Lexion 580. The dust extractor for the gathering duct ensures the best visibility of the cutting mechanism even with a "bone-dry" harvest and it therefore ensures a more accurate and better handling of the machine. The cutting mechanism, up to 9m wide, is able to cope with various differing crop conditions. For example, in grain crops the cutting mechanism table can be smoothly shortened or lengthened by 10 cm or 20 cm respectively. This is the foundation for optimising the flow of goods and to ensure proper functioning, which also helps to significantly make the driver's work easier. For harvesting rapeseed crops, the cutting mechanism is driven forward by 50 cm with an integrated rapeseed harvester bench. Valuable setup time can be easily saved by converting the cutting mechanism to the "rapeseed" function. Last but not least the Claas Lexion 580 boasts a spacious cabin, called the VISTA CAB, which lets you work long but fatigue and stress-free days.
