The Claas Lexion 570 has always been in a class of its own in terms of productivity. Overall, the Lexion 500 series sets new standards when it comes to effectively lowering harvesting costs. The combined harvesters offer an enormous increase in performance potential, and assist the driver, from routine work to difficult maneuvers on slopes, through numerous innovations. For example, you can adjust the Claas Lexion 570 for nearly all harvesting conditions.
Its high-performance cutterbar is the foundation for a high throughput. With the high-throughput APS threshing the technical capacity is fully utilised even in difficult conditions, and the threshing of the crop can be done as evenly as possible. Moreover, the soft-start system ensures a gradual start of the cutterbar. Peak loads on the drives and clutches are avoided and the durability of the aggregates is increased. Furthermore, the Claas Lexion 570 impresses with its quick setup time. Thanks to the new multi-coupler, now the docking of decoupling the cutterbar goes even faster. With a very dry crop, dust can "obfuscate" the view on the cutting somewhat - Not for the Claas Lexion 570.
The dust extractor for the feeder housing ensures the best visibility of the cutterbar even with "bone-dry" harvesting, and thus more accurate and more comfortable operation. The cutterbar, which is up to 9 m wide, can be adjusted to cope with different crop conditions: for grain harvesting, the cutterbar table can be continuously shortened by up to 10 cm or lengthen by to 20 cm. This is the basis for optimising the crop flow and for creating a smooth workflow, which also helps to facilitate the driver's job significantly. For rapeseed, the cutterbar table can be moved forward by 50 cm (integrated rapeseed table). Thus, the rebuilding of the cutterbar for "rapeseed" is easy, and saves valuable set-up time. Finally, the Claas Lexion 570 is also appealing thanks to its a spacious cabin, called VISTA CAB, which provides a fatigue- and stress-free working environment, also on long working days.
